Squeeze-Take Me I’m Yours tells the story of Squeeze, in particular the song writing partnership of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook. When we began making the film we decided to keep the focus on the songwriting, but as we went through the process we discovered that the film was as much about the up’s and down’s of Chris and Glenn’s personal relationship. In this clip they discuss how they came to write the classic ‘Up the Junction’ and how Chris would present Glenn with the song lyrics and Glenn would then begin the process to find what he felt was the right melody and music setting to best serve the song.
